The University of Lisbon (ULisboa) is the largest university in Portugal, formed in 2013 through the merger of older institutions (including the historic Faculdade de Letras and Instituto Superior Técnico). ULisboa offers broad research and teaching excellence across sciences, engineering, humanities and arts. Campus facilities include modern libraries, research labs, sports and cultural centres, student residences and several cafeterias.
